Fresh Mett (aka Yard Sausage)

Eckerlin Meats also makes great old fashioned yard sausage or fresh mett as we call it.   This sausage has a great blend of salt, pepper, mustard seed and a hint of mace.   It goes great with sauerkraut or on a bun with spicy mustard.

It was called yard sausage because it used to be sold by the yard instead of by the pound.   This sausage is one of our best sellers.
